Information We Collect
When you use Oliros, we collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- •Account information (name, email, password)
- •Professional profile data (work experience, education, skills)
- •Resume and cover letter content
- •Job application tracking data
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- •Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- •Generate tailored resumes and application materials
- •Send you technical notices and support messages
- •Respond to your comments and questions
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
AI Processing & Service Providers
To generate and analyze your résumés, cover letters, interview prep, and job matches, we send the relevant content you provide (such as your professional profile and the job posting) to third-party AI providers acting as our processors. These providers process your content solely to return the requested result and do not use it to train their models on your behalf. The AI providers we use are: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and DeepSeek.
International data transfers. Some AI processing occurs outside the United States. In particular, DeepSeek is operated from outside the U.S. (including servers in China). By using AI features, you consent to your submitted content being processed internationally by these providers. You can avoid third-party AI processing by not using the AI generation features.
Other service providers. We also rely on trusted vendors to operate the platform: Stripe (payments), Mailgun (transactional email), Adzuna (job listings), O*NET and CareerOneStop (public labor-market data), PostHog (product analytics), and cloud hosting/database providers (Railway, Neon PostgreSQL, Redis). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data. A limited set of billing records (payment, refund, and dispute history) is retained with personal and card details stripped — because tax, accounting, and anti-fraud law require us to keep financial transaction records for at least the applicable statutory period. Within our systems these rows are no longer linked to your profile, though a payment-processor reference is kept so the transaction remains auditable.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- •Access and receive a copy of your personal data
- •Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- •Delete your personal data
- •Object to or restrict processing of your data
